Green finance and high-quality development of marine economy

Purpose With the Chinese marine economy developing rapidly, environmental problem has been occurring frequently, which needs green finance that supports energy conservation, protection, and sustainable development to solve. Design/methodology/approach In this paper, entropy method is used measure level of finance, DEA-ML index total factor productivity indicate high-quality in 11 coastal provinces (cities), then grey correlation degree between them whose result shows there a certain two variables calculated. The fixed-effect model was analyze relationship them. Findings results show can promote economy, but are still some problems process supporting economy. Originality/value This paper seeks new growth drivers, for few scholars have studied.
